It’s not easy being green (med backpacks!!!)
So…we got our med backpacks today!!!
They are…very green 😉
I’m just going to leave this here 😉
We were supposed to get them either in oweek, or sometime in September, but there was a delay, so no backpacks. We finally managed to reschedule it for today, and the talk was actually kind of interesting. The CMA membership comes with all kinds of cool discounts, like Porter Airlines, Goodlife Fitness, hotels, the VIA Rail and more, which is a nice perk for only 20 dollars a year.
But honestly, we really wanted those backpacks for the same reason we wanted the white coats. It’s a symbol of what we’ve achieved in getting into medical school, and a way to identify our fellow 2018’s all over the country, or all over the world. The CMA has a contest, to take a picture with the backpack all over the world, and me and my med friend are going to try to take one in every location of the Europe 2015 trip (now including Stockholm, Sweden!), and even if we don’t win, we’ll have at least a few cool pics 🙂 And, they are actually really great backpacks – they have so many pockets and compartments, and they are really well constructed.
They might be bright green, but at least they’re a functional green!
And, as an added bonus, we’re much less likely to get hit by a car in the dark! 😉
